Eve Speciall (@eve_speciall) is quite possibly one of the coolest people you'll ever meet. She has the ultimate enviable jet-setting lifestyle as a top model and DJ. Her career as a model has seen her make appearances in a varied range of campaigns for Ulta Beauty, Evisu Jeans, Lauren Conrad and Target, just to name a few, while her DJ career has seen her fly around the world for gigs with Topshop, Adidas, Dolce & Gabbana, Prada, Chloe and more. She was even featured in Tiesto's 2014 music video Light Year's Away.
But, aside from all that, when it boils down to it, Eve is really just really, really cool. Regardless of her high-flying career or not, she's the kind of woman you want to hang out with all the time; she exciting, she's warm, she's interesting, she's empowered. She's exactly the kind of woman we admire here at PI'A.
Though Eve hails from Australia, her modelling career has brought her all over the world; from Asia to Europe to the United States. These days, she splits her time between Los Angeles and Hong Kong. Since she's seen so much of the world as a top model, she's definitely got discerning tastes when it comes to what's 'cool'. During her spare time in LA, one of Eve's favourite places to hang out is the Venice Beach area. Filled with creative energy and beautiful sunsets on a daily basis, it's one of our favourite areas in LA, too. Eve lets us in on her favourite Venice hot-spots below.

"Gjelina has become somewhat of a culture. The outside patio is airy and light and the atmosphere has that relaxed, hippy-cool vibe that Venice is known for. Their pizzas are truly fantastic, but for the gluten-free like me, the prosciutto, peach and burrata salad is a must-order. Add a dozen oysters and the cheese plate and your life is complete. Gjelina To-Go next door is great for a yummy quick fix."
RETREAT
THE BEACH

"My ideal retreat is the beach. It can get a little touristy (and also sketchy) at Venice Beach, however, there are some hidden nook and crannies where you can lay out and watch the set set over the ocean. And be sure to stroll past the beachfront skate park for some live action entertainment."

"Venice is known for its incredible street art and murals that line the walls and alleyways. They bring so much character and color to the area. I love getting lost in the new and familiar places every time I am in the area. My friend Lennie once spotted a giant bouquet of pineapple balloons on an obscure street wall. A week later, when she brought some friends back to look at it, it was gone. That's the beauty of Venice's street art; it may not be around for long, but you'll always remember it."
